Thread Title: Display if a player is online on he forums or not. Minecraft Name: Vintage_Gamer Suggestion: I am suggesting that on the forums, next to /underneath your avatar it displays either 'online' or 'offline'. I have seen this on other xenforo sites and it can be to some extent useful. Even just an 'online' tag next to the user, or display nothing when not online. Reason: It would help users who are in a Private Conversation, also if you are browsing the forums and see a player is online you would be well aware of it. I know there is a module type thing on the right displaying the online players, but in addition to that, i think adding this would be a good idea. Other Information: N/A Link to this plugin: Xenforo plugin?
The box on the home page has the online players list, but people can hide themselves from that. I do like the idea of having a online/offline thing though. Put it under your name and forum medals, showing if your online or not. Its not entirely necessary but would be a nice addition. +1
In addition to what monkey said, why would you need to know why someone is online on the forums? You can tag him in the thread/create a forum PM and he will see it asap. Another solution would be to check for him in game.
After all, its a suggestion. Then again you could argue about the Residents + section and so on. What good does that do? Its practically pointless.
I am not that kind of person. Please do not make that kind of accusation. I read the post and thought your points on why it would be useful would not, in reality, be useful and only aid the lazy and impatient.
