I am making custom bots for ecodollars. The bots must be within the rules for bots. Minecraft account not included. Prices negotiable based on bot complexity. Examples of possible features include (but not limited to): multi-town permission management traffic counters statistics private banking [WIP] greif detection/auto town permission removal [WIP] area-specific auto rg permissions As standard bot rules apply, you must get permission from a GameAdmin or higher for each new bot
What do mean? I could imagine statistics like lotto surveillance, for example (Or SG), but what are private banking/grief protection etc? Oh, and can those bots also be run on the default account instead of a new one? Lastly, where can I find the standard bot rules?
Yes! They can monitor and log chat, and do a great many other things with it including watching for certain words and notifying you when they occur, such as looking for "silk touch" in ch tr The bots may not be able to make money, but they can certainly hold on to it for you, with chat commands for withdrawl, deposit, and balance. They can budget funds for you, IE handing back a certain amount per day or per hour to you, as well as being set up so you can deposit your entire bal at a given time and have it return all but say 1% to you for savings. They can support multiple accounts, (ex checking, savings, etc) that can be switched between with chat commands, with the balances of each account read out individually Yes, but they will have no idea what a default account is, unless you want them to. You know, I don't know :/ There doesn't seem to be a section on the wiki for them. As I've heard it the bots are not allowed to do anything that makes money automatically, as well as they can't build buildings for you. You also need the permission of a GameAdmin or higher rank for each individual bot. Beyond that, I suspect any questions should be directed at said GA or higher.
Sounds complicated. I will either prefer trade signs or do it like I always did - leave it in my bal and simply don't let it go below a mark. ? Oh, k. I might be interested in the future!
I'm not sure about chat channels but they can definitely pm you and accept pm commands. It will vary quite a bit based on complexity of what you want it to do, but I'd probably go with 15k as a base price 15k being no GUI, a jar file that accepts a couple basic chat commands. all bots can be moved by selecting players that are allowed to tp them to places, but currently they don't walk around. It might be possible, but it would take quite a bit of work it seems.
The text I marked in green :This is illegal using your own account for benefits especially fiancially.
Small clarification...can a bot also run on my 314 account if I am not online and let the bot log in, for example when I have something else to do? So that the bot is only active when I am not playing? I think I should inform myself about bot programming a bit...I like coding and am already learning java.
Yes and no. Are you asking if it can auto-log in if you're not online? This is possible, but somewhat difficult to determine.
Auto-log might be interesting, but I mainly meant whether it'S legal to use the same account for playing and for a bot.
This would be a question for the GameAdmin+ you request the bot from, although I see no problem with it. It's technically the same thing as a dedicated account from the server's point of view. If you decide to, let me know and I can offer a copy of the base code for the bot. I'm charging for labor, not for code.
Read this term multiple times already...what is a dedicated account? Oh, i'd be very grateful about that!
@sinder33 Under the former administration, xerxesbeat's bot banking system was approved. It doesn't generate profit, or any other benefit, it just simply manages money. Not sure if this has changed under phys, but it was legal, and operational, for a long period of time a few months ago.
