NOTE: We also now own the town Agritopia, which needs restoring, so that is going to be our first town project!! This means you will be black listed and I will apply for LWC removals. If you are removed from the town you will have 1 day to appeal via this town thread using the format: "IGN: Your name here Address: Your town address here eg. 1 Black Bull Road Rule broken: Which town rule did you break? Please copy and paste specific rule Player affected: If applicable Reason for appeal: Why are you appealing your ban" - Please keep yourself up-to-date with the Folkestone town thread, as important news, events, changes etc will be put in here. - As an active town, we only want active players to reside in Folkestone, so if you are inactive for 6 days, I will tag you in a message on this thread reminding you of your inactivity, and then on the 7th/8th day of your inactivity your property will be flattened, your LWCs removed and your perms revoked. Once you are removed from Folkestone you will be put on the town's black list and re-instating your perms will be subject to consultation with the town council. - If you are going to be inactive for more than 7 days please either post on here or forum PM @chanimeryl with the format below, and once your post is received and responded to, you will be exempt from the consequences stated in the previous rule. "IGN: Your name here. Address: Your town address here, eg. 1 Black Bull Road Reason for inactivity: eg. Holiday, Exams, Just want some time off etc Length and Duration of inactivity: eg. 10 days, 1st December - 11th December" - No griefing! This means *no destroying blocks outside the perimeter of your plot. *Excludes public farm sections of the town. - No trespassing! This means *no entering any other players property. *With the players permission you are allowed to enter their property but the player must be online at all times during your presence in their property. - No stealing! This means, no stealing from other players' unlocked chests. While this offence won't get you banned from the server, it will get you banned from the town, and added to the black list permanently with no chance of reinstating your perms. - Please use /ch l to chat with the town, we are a friendly town, and like to chat! I am saving up to get Folkestone its own chat channel so hopefully that is something to look forward to! - In regards to our local chat, we do allow swear words, but don't get out of hand. Also, if any town member asks you to refrain from certain language you are to do so without question. Also, no talk of religion, other servers, no inappropriate talk, no excessive slang/abbreviations, and no being rude or disrespectful. - Please use natural blocks for building on your plots. This means, wood blocks, stone blocks, brick blocks. Please no clays/coloured glass/brightly coloured or unnatural blocks without first asking, either on this thread, PM in the forums or PM in game. - Please replant all crops/trees you take. We want to help everyone stay well fed, and topped up with wood etc so please be considerate and replant! If you don't replant it will be treated as griefing. - If you damage something, either repair it yourself immediately, or if you don't have the resources to repair it, post a comment on this thread using the format below: "IGN: Your name here Address: Your address here eg. 1 Black Bull Road Block(s) damaged: What type of block was damaged eg. 1 block of glowstone Co-ords of block(s) damaged: The x: y: z: of the blocks you have broken/damaged" If you damage something, and don't repair it and don't post on here to say something, it will be treated as griefing and will be subject to the same consequences. Everyone, @jumbo2100 has done so much for the town, that Danny and I have decided he deserves to be appointed Co-Mayor. So congrats Jumbo, and thank you!
Congratulations @jumbo2100 I'm sure you will make an excellent co-mayor and I appreciate the time and effort you put into making the town as beautiful as it is. You have also built my favourite boat on the server!
Ok guys, in regards to plot/prebuilt sales etc. How are we going to split the money? Please post your views in concise posts, so we can easily see what everyone thinks.
I recommend, On average plots sell for $1500, there are 4 main parts the town, The Mayor, 2 co mayors and the town council members. I feel the money should be split, $375 To Chani, $375 To Danny, $375 To Me and then the final $375 given to one of the council members, I would have them in a rotation so each council member gets and a fair amount, as their are currently 3 council members, selling 3 plots would result in all of them getting $375 each. My suggestion - Jumbo2100
I think we should put all of the money in the sign, and then once a day/week/month (however decided) split the money as such; 1/5 to me, 1/5 to danny, 1/5 to jumbo, 1/5 to the council and 1/5 for the towns maintenance.
I don't want any money from it, I didn't do anything. Plus I'm sure any money Chani receives will go back into the town or our farm.
As Jumbo said, me and him have purchased the town next to Folkestone. It's going to be a town effort to sort the town out and make it glorious. It will open you all up to money making opportunities and I'll be posting soon a list of tasks we need to do. You can all then pick tasks you would like to be in charge of completing and each task will have a pay, of course. I really appreciate everyones involvement in making Folkestone a beautiful town, and specifically have to thank Jumbo for his hard work and for proving my decision to make him co-mayor to be a great decision!

OK guys, The town fund has over 20k in it now, and I am looking for suggestions on what to spend the money on. Here are some ideas I had; - A heal sign - Heals <3 and food bars - 40k - Town chat channel - Allows town chat while anywhere on the server - 40k - Town warp - Allows TP users to warp to the town - 40k - Save it for new town - Like I said I am open to suggestions. So please post what you think we should use the money for, or if we should just save it!
I would like to help out as a farm builder or anything for the new town. (Will I be paid? If not that's ok, just wasn't sure)
Ok thank you for putting yourself forward I will let you know soon what we need done. Work will probably commence from Friday, when jumbo is back from holiday.
