Like Kuke would say before he manually restarted the server, "hold yo flying, hold yo items". If you get CJB and have CJB fly activated, you can log out and log back in and you will still be flying. As well I have noticed that I do take fall damage if I am flying during a restart not using the CJB fly.
This has always been an issue as long as I've had fly (using /fly not cjb). The same goes if your in the aether flying, and then home to a mainworld home you'll sometimes instantly die due to fall damage as the /fly command doesn't cross over between worlds. One of the key reasons I've pushed hard for reset notifications, but sometimes the server has to reset right then due to a problem and there is no time for a notice. You'll know when your in trouble on the reset, just try to /spawn, /home or /fly once you login to try to save yourself. RagMan
Do /fly or /home. If you do /spawn you will most likely die and you don't want your items in the spawn area....
