Denied Flint, Cactus, Stick, Sand and Gravel Price Change

    Thread Title:
    Change the price of Flint, Cactus, Sticks, Gravel and Sand

    Minecraft Name:

    Suggestion:
    Adding a price to Flint, Cactus, Sticks, Gravel and Sand.

    Reason:
    Currently they all have a price of $0 and I don't see a reason for not having a price for them?
    Ive been told that flint doesn't have a price because of the kit? If thats true why are there prices for Stone Tools as they are also in a /kit?
    I just think it would be nice to have a sell value on them.

    Price Suggestions
    Sticks could be priced at 0.02 which is the rough price of the cost to make them (2 Plank = $0.1) / 4= $0.025
    Cactus could revert back to $1.5, especially since it could be a farmable crop soon: LinkToUnderReviewSuggestion
    Flint, Gravel and Sand could be priced at $0.05 like cobblestone and dirt are, as they are common blocks.

    Other Information:
    Nope, i just think its a good time to change them with possibly a few changes to farmable crops anyway.

    Cobble stone and dirt are way more common than gravel and sand yet sand and gravel have a price of $0.

    I know sand and gravel were put to $0 because of money making things, but I believe that was a while ago.
    I think that putting a price for sand and gravel would make sense, but do you really get enough flint to warrent even selling it?

    Vanilla minecraft now makes it so gravel drops Flint 100% of the time unless dug with a silk touch pick. :)

    /pet selector + /sell stick + macros to do this quite fast = Free money. Not much, but still. :p

    According to Singleplayer tests, I am averaging 10%. 100% with fortune III.

    If gravel and sand were set to $0 because of money-making methods, I'm a bit confused... Automation? Wouldn't you run out of sand and gravel to ever make a profit? Besides, with high-Efficiency tools, you'd probably collect more of either at a faster rate.

    If someone is willing to do this, it would turn into an auto macro which would be illegal correct? So we are making a block worth $0 in fear of people using a auto macro on them? Cause we should then stop mining, cause boy, the exploits there are huge... >_>

    Apologies, your correct, its a 10% drop rate,
    But this still makes no sense making it have no value? :)

    EDIT: Check on ECC, as i dont get any gravel, only flint

    +1, I see absolutely no reason against this, it wont cause any new game breaking way to gain money (im guessing sand collecting could get like 2k an hour). Also, I hate it when i do /sell tb and it sells it for $0, pity.

    A long time ago people made sand and gravel farms which I believe were used to boost McMMO excavation (correct me if I'm wrong.) These farms were giant holes to bedrock and all the way to the build height limit. When combined with multiple people across the server causing full vertical block updates, it made the server lag extremely bad. To prevent this andrew made the price of sand/gravel and everything that comes out of it $0.

    I don't see this suggestion getting passed any time in the near future. These items have been $0 for years now.

    McMMo xp levels can still be set to 0 xp given for sand and gravel.
    McMMoHas nothing to do with their price points.

    We could even make sand worth less than 1cent, make it so a whole stack is only a cent or two, remove the mcMMO gains from them, it presently feels like even moreof a handicap than usual to live/mine anywhere near a beach or desert
