Minecraft Username: pokeball92870 Brief Description: On more than one occasion, fishing under normal circumstances has triggered the server anti-cheat to wrongly execute a kick. I believe this is a bug and not normal behavior due to the ease in reproducing an anti-cheat trigger. Instructions: Obtain a fishing rod and find a body of water When you see the trail, try to anticipate when the fish will hit the rod, and reel it in as soon as this happens. After doing this a few times, the server will issue a kick. How many times did you recreate this bug?: 6 times thus far. 2 times last night and 4 times in the hour within the recording of the video below. Result: The server anti-cheat kicks the user if the rod is reeled in as soon as a fish is eligible to be caught. Expected Result: The server anti-cheat does not flag the user for legitimate fishing. Evidence: Sorry for buggy recording. (crappy FRAPS, sped up footage of whole fishing experience). Recorded on OptiFine 1.11.2 (no mods otherwise). This is evident from the main menu.
If this adds any merit, I have also experienced this bug with fishing a couple of times. It has only happened to me when I pulled in the rod at the exact moment the fish hit the rod.
Thanks for reporting this, I'm going to be looking into this to see if it's an Anti-Cheat issue or configuration issue. In the meantime I will likely disable the fishing check.
