Finding a place to live... The tale of a homeless RailefBear

** first of all, I'd like to say that even though I might be joking about this, I personally believe it's a serious issue around the world. I don't have to prove anything to anyone but I'll still add that, back in Chile (for those of you who don't know, I'm a chilean living in the US since 2011) my family and I used to buy around 20 lbs of bread, enough ham and cheese and we would make sandwiches for the homeless and/or less fortunate ones**

**Second note, I don't know if this should be in General Discussion, but since Off Topic says "anything non ECC related" and this sort of is I'm posting it here. Staff, please move it if you feel it's off place.**

Anyway...
It was late at night on March 5th, I've been homeless for a while now since UBC (OnScene, Izz and my town) was mass evicted by us to work on it and do a better town planning. I do have my own territory since I'm a mayor, but I haven't built a place to live. I'm homeless. Or sort of was.
I was roaming the streets of ECC, looking at buildings and the different towns around the place. Suddenly, I saw someone posting an offer in [Trade] and I was curious and I asked him what the project he was advertising was about. He said he was selling houses and that all fund would go to a sort of Imperial Palace. A palace!!! And I was there, homeless. He invited me to his town, he didn't know I had empty pockets and nothing more than some baked potatoes on me. He showed me a couple of places that were for sale... $40,000 was the 1st one.


- I'm sorry, I haven't any money - I said.
- Don't worry, I have some more economic ones starting at just $7,500 ECD.
I looked down. I didn't have money, not for that at least.
- I'm sorry I can't buy it.
He then jokingly asked someone to give me some money. All of a sudden I got around $2,000. $2,000ECD!!! And guess what was the first thing I did? The most stupid thing a person does in ECC yet everyone does it. I lotto'ed it because there were only 10 seconds left... and you know... 10 seconds left, everyone's gotta buy a couple of tickets when there are only 10 seconds left!
I didn't win.

Then, came Stolio , he said I should buy a house and be his neighbor! I looked everywhere, but all the houses around where taken and I didn't have the money anyways. He showed me his place, a nice, not yet finished, flat with quartz in the interior. I'm sure it will be great once finished!


I then kept roaming around the streets of this medieval town. I heard it was 600x600. I had quite a bit to go if I wanted to see most of it. But I did. In the end, I really wanted a place to live there. It's an ongoing project but what it's built so far is amazing. Plus, most of the people I know live there. Even the most famous ones. How could I not want to live there?



All of a sudden I remembered I had some nether stars in a chest back in my territory. I didn't have a house, but I did have a lot of chests, so it took me a while to find them. I sold them at $370 each and suddenly I was $17,000 richer than before.
So, I went back to the city. And I asked the mayor if I could buy perms to live there. But before that I looked around for a place to live. I remember Stolio telling me to be his neighbor. So, looking for this place to live and finally stop being homeless I found the most cozy place you could find around there. I climbed to the roof and there it was. It's not much.
I asked welikeike22 if I could live there. He laughed but agreed. I paid him some money to fund his Imperial Palace (maybe some day I'll be able to live there... Or work there at least), he gave me the perms and I went back to my territory, Heavens Arena, to get some materials I knew I had somewhere.
I climbed once again to Stolio 's roof and set everything up. It's not much.
But it's home.







As you can see, konan200x didn't care about my economic status.
And talked in a very rude way.

Now I live next to all the celebrities around ECC!
Stolio , Physicistsmom (I try to visit her haus often, find it and you'll see why), usernameofdeath also lives there, _TANSTAAFL , Skylexia and many, many more celebrities.

I have a home now!!

For everyone - what I wrote after my 1st 2 notes (those with the ** ) was in character. I do have a place to live and money. I paid $10,000 to welikeike22 for that place (I could have bought a much bigger house for that money in his town).

JammersDunn4 , is welikeike22 's city. It's huge! You should buy a place there =)


And let me add something kind of funny... It was the first time I spoke to Ike that much and I've always wondered why the called him Ike instead of welike or weli... This morning I woke up and, I'm not joking, the first thing I thought was "his name is we-like-ike!!!" It was such a sudden realization (I've been trying to figure that one out for a while now) that I woke up right away instead of snoozing my alarm hahaha

oh and _TANSTAAFL maybe? haha I don't know. I just know that almost everyone I know had a place there!

and... well, I always hear about almost everyone that has a house there haha

Question: is Revan like andrew now and shouldn't be tagged in stuff like this? =O
