Minecraft Username: Jcamp88 Reason of Ban: "Use of a hacked client in PvP" Rule violated: Clause 1 - Hacking and Hacked Clients Fly, speed, air build, teleport hacking, or any other types of hacks, are not tolerated. This includes x-ray hacking and x-ray texture packs. Using any unfair means (including glitches, bugs, and exploits) to get into server buildings is also not allowed and is unfair to other users. Using any clients, specifically hacked clients, which may allow you to gain unfair advantages as deemed by ECC staff is strictly prohibited. Users caught using any client deemed to be a "hacked client", as defined by and at the discretion of the staff, will be banned. There is no excuse for using a hacked client on EcoCityCraft whatsoever. Discussion of hacked clients is not allowed - we do not allow them, and therefore we do not discuss them. Please explain in your own words what the rule(s) means: The rule is simple. Respect others and give them the opportunity to play a game fair without giving yourself any advantages unless they are allowed. For example; Using potions is allowed but giving yourself GodMode is not. Just play the game without having to cheat. Play as if the server is your own and you wouldn't want people ruining the server with hacks. Anyone who is caught hacking or look like they were hacking will be punished until proven innocent or given another chance. Reason you feel you think you should be unbanned: After talking to a good friend of mine. We decided it's best for me to come clean and say I was hacking. Giving myself advantages is wrong and I swear to never do it again. No hacked clients are currently in my .minecraft folder and I plan on keeping it that way forever. I'd like to play on this server for a while (Years if possible) because of specific friends I have made. Some being: Quilny, ZombieElement, Clou44, and Switchblade20. I apologize for the time that has been spent reviewing my Complaints and Appeals. It won't happen again, I can assure of it. I hope too see my friends in EcoCityCraft soon . Thank you for appealing with honesty. You are absolutely right about why we have rules against the use of illegal mods. Its very unfair to others and there is not good reason to ever use them. All it does is upset others and they lose enjoyment of the game when there are people around who use these mods. Because this is your first offense I will be issuing you a 3 day temp-ban. During this time I would like to you reflect on what you have done and fully understand why its not the right path to go down. Any further offenses for this will result in a longer ban from ECC.
