Hey guys, A while back I found a farmland block while raiding an old Legacy town out of boredom. Today I found it in one of my chest, and decided to ask about it in chat. I got a lot of responses saying how rare it is, and even some willing to buy it. So my questions are 'How rare is it/is it the only one?' and 'How in the world did anybody obtain it in the first place?'. I'm not selling it at the moment, but I would like a number on roughly how much it's worth, if that's possible I'm wondering if this came from an event, or in some old version of Minecraft you were able to obtain it. As far as I am aware, it is only available through console commands. This leads me to believe it is the result of an outdated bug.
It might be the only one, but I think I have seen a rarities thread that listed them; however, the thread was multiple years old. A bug, most likely. The rarity increases if this bug was fixed at some point, but only if it was a lesser known bug.
I thought this used to be an old nether star item that could be purchased when nether stars were first introduced. I may be wrong about the nether star purchase, but this quite possibly may be one of only a few existing on ECC. Congratulations on your find.
To your left you see a quite new nub who has no knowledge of such things in the time before 2014. Thank you for this information.
