Farming in the aether?

    So I have never even considered buying aether access because I have never seen a real point to it but I have learned that wheat and other crops grow 10 times faster. I thought 20k would be a good investment if I made a nice wheat farm does anyone else agree?

    Wheat grows 10 times faster in aether? Can anybody else confirm this?

    i farm wheat in the aether and haven't farmed in the main world in a while but i do know that wheat does grow slower now in the aether since 1.3 than it did in the main world before 1.3

    I doubt that it grows 10x faster. I doubt that it grows any faster.

    Chunks are loaded over a larger distance, but it's not that they'll grow faster.

    That does seem to be the case now after some people have tested.

    I haven't tested it myself but others have reported seeing wheat grow in a circular area centered on the player, not chunk limited.
