Minecraft Username: neecoalage Brief Description: Trying to remove player MrFluffy03 from a plot in /warp toodles (7061 78 -1056) and being met with: "Failed to remove members: Unable to resolve the names MrFluffy03" Instructions: Go to plot > /rg i > remove member > add name > hit enter How many times did you recreate this?: 10 - 15 times Result: Same error each time. Expected Result: Remove member Evidence: https://namemc.com/search?q=MrFluffy03
Try using the actual UUID given by NameMC. I tested on a subplot region in my town Strathmore and was able to both add and then successfully remove the UUID. Trying by username showed the same message you received, about being unable to resolve username. It shows '1 unknown uuid' on /rg i, but it still added/removed them without issue. Could be worth a shot. D:
Yeah this is weird; I did take a look to see which UUID MrFluffy03 joined the server under, and its c980b397-ca72-4b99-a7ff-3d1104f0e22d, and the username of this account via namemc is Flame_Knight_: https://namemc.com/profile/Flame_Knight_ We also added MrFluffy03 to toodles2blue19 shortly after he joined: 'RealRichNixon issued server command: /rg addmember -w "rising" toodles2blue19 MrFluffy03' This UUID has not joined the server since 3/30, the day he joined the first time. However the username MrFluffy03 on namemc takes us to this account (https://namemc.com/profile/McFluffy03.1), which as of today has changed to McFluffy03 I was able to re-create the issue with /rg rm toodles2blue19 MrFluffy03 When I did '/rg rm toodles2blue19 1a6d5efd-cfec-44f6-84a0-b06d71300a64' (the guy's uuid) it worked fine. This UUID here has not joined the server recently. Now if I try '/rg am toodles2blue19 mrfluffy03' (the guy's old name) it does not work, but then if I do '/rg am toodles2blue19 mcfluffy03' (guys current name) it works fine. '/rg rm toodles2blue19 mcfluffy03' also works. So yeah somehow the UUID of this Flame_Knight_ user is now attached to what used to be MrFluffy03 and MrFluffy03/McFluffy03 is now an entirely different account with a different UUID. Flame_Knight_ has also never joined our server, at least not recently. I will also mention I see no errors when these commands are issued
I don't see any such user added to the plots at: 7061 78 -1056. @neecoalage @ClarinetPhoenix have you resolved this?
Yeah I managed to remove them using the UUID this morning, I simply pointed out the weirdness I noticed between the username not working and the UUID not matching for some reason.
ive also had this problem in the past but i found pushing the CLR button to remove everyone from the region works
Glad you guys got it solved. I'm guessing the account was banned by Mojang, as even though it shows it exists with a UUID on namemc, it also shows it as available for claim.
Yeah it was just really weird, I tried all ways I could think of, but of course, @ClarinetPhoenix used big brain power and helped me out Thank you @andrewkm for taking the time to look this over. <3 it's appreciated.
