so i was looking to use my Ext creation features but i noticed a few limits not sure the exact numbers but does anyone know: Lift signs: do they have a max height? other then the block im assuming it can be place top to bottom have not tested Gates: max height? max width? Bridges: max width? max length? Doors: max height? max width is there a faster way to put blocks in the sign for the above then clicking for every single block you want in there is there a way for when i type line 1 [x] amount so say i can put 500 and it takes 500 of the allowable bridge item from my inventory(it would take based of what block the sign was being placed on) I think the below could best answer my question but not 100% sure who this question can be answered by @JamieSinn @Nicit6 Thank you for any and all help
I don't know about the first questions, but I'm fairly certain that shift-clicking into the sign is quicker.
Max length of bridge was found it is 31 blocks in length, this means 33 in total each end block being the block the sign in placed on if you are a visual person below is a rough schematic to what i'm saying S...........................................................S [E]b]b]b]b]b][E] S = sign []= block . = air E= end block does not move b= bridge block or block that moves once sign is toggled. currently attempting to find max width
max width no matter what i put in line 3/4 above 5 it seems it limits to 5 so that would be 5 on the left 5 on the right totaling to 11 blocks in all picture below _____________S [E] S = sign []= block _ = air E= end block does not move b= bridge block or block that moves once sign is toggled.
Shift-clicking works when standing right in front of the sign, then it places 5. If standing too far away or clicking too fast, it places. Suggestion: Do not use [ B ] as it is partially filtered out and replaced by bold. ^_^
Pretty sure last time i checked it did 5 at a time as long as you had 5 in that stack. It was also so glitchy it wouldnt work like 1 in 8 times. xD
Yea the text kept giving me some odd/glitchy outputs wasn't sure what it was thank you And I got it to work yea it is like a 1/8 well 1/10 for me lol Thank you
The maximum width is 5 per side. For a total maximum of 11 blocks (5 on each side, plus the center column) The space from the bottom of one sign, to the bottom of the other sign must be no more than 32 blocks. This means your open door can be 29 blocks high at most (1 sign, and 2 blocks for the frame) I have seen this in multiple places, but I copied that information from this nice basic tutorial regarding doors - http://www.ecocitycraft.com/forum/threads/extcreations-doors-tutorial.67338/
