Minecraft Username: Lilypetals Brief Description: Able to reach through locked doors. Instructions: Go to a locked wooden door. Punch (Left click) The top section of the door, the bottom doesn't work. When you do this, the door will appear open. It cannot be walked through, but you can punch things through it, and open chests through it. How many times did you recreate this bug?: Several times, it worked every time. Result: Things can be griefed and or stolen through a locked door. Expected Result: The door to instant shut like when you right click it. Evidence:
Yes, I have also seen it. I always thought it to be some-sort of lag that did this however I do agree with the above it is Exploitable. Some may disagree but say you had a bed somewhat close to the door, someone could just click it as normal and get into your house. Now most people would not have open chests, but if the chests are open, then stuff will get stolen and yes that is not against the rules but it would be safer for all.
Wood doors have always been like this. In fact some people use to be able to sprint through the gap when it was opening/closing or fly or compass jump through to get past. If you want something that wont pop open/close when you click on it and is more secure, use an iron door. RagMan
