Hey guys, Cpt_Falkon here, and I'm making a suggestion for ecc! This suggestion may be kind of a ridiculous request, but I'm going to suggest it anyways because we all know the mining world is a huge source of income to players. With the new price of 15k/usd for features (from what I have heard), I think that the mining world should be reset an extra time this month and here is why: people will be able to get features at a more affordable rate, more donations to the server are more likely (maybe), and the server would hopefully have the reserve funds to last a lot longer. I don't know all of the little details to this new rule, but I know ecc could use some more donations and that the users would also like to have more features. Comment below or do whatever is needed to get this to the right people. This is kind of a short post, but it gets my point across, have a nice day and play some minecraft! Cpt_Falkon
I believe that this idea will improve sales and be a positive idea towards funding ecc for a longer time period.
What if andrew misses the deadline due to IRL issues and such? What will happen to the money spent on the feature then? You really can't make things like that features.
Or people just stop charging so much for features and everyone could just buy heaps and keep the server going for ages
Anyways, second post on the thread because different point but: Why not give every form of money making a bump? Given that features purchasable via ECD from the server will provide a large money dump while killing the player-to-player donations market, these EULA changes will obviously depress the economy. In order to counteract that, we should be bumping up how much all forms of money-making can make - Not just mining, but everything. That will make it so features are more affordable while avoiding a economic downturn.
Yes. People currently make way too little money to support 15k/usd features without 1. Increasing the cash flow of every money-making method 2. Killing off half of the playerbase I know it would essentially make features cost less, but at least the player base would stay.
No, my concerns are more about the economic impact of killing the donation market and taking much more money out of the economy than losing a large amount of the playerbase - Which, by the way, is highly unlikely.
would making it easier to get money cause the market value for ecc money to drop? since i will be more common to earn money if this actually takes place.
I actually like this idea. It benefits everyone, which makes it EULA compliant. How much human interaction is needed to generate the world itself? Just an equally random idea (that probably contains at least one major flaw): The mining world is generated in the first half of the month and a script updates the server files at a predefined time which is modified via buycraft purchases of this feature?
Or they could make features 9k/usd instead of 15k/usd once everything switches over...that seems easier than making everything else worth more (or reseting mining world 2x/month rather than monthly as current. If everything else is worth more it will change EVERYTHING including star tool market, cost to get builder, mayor, president etc etc because anyone can rank up quickly if everything is worth more, so they'll have to change all the rest to match to new money. -1
