Good to see my 56 commits don't get any credit.

/pm, not sure why that's happening. All private message commands have the same permission node.

The * before a message is shorthand for /me <msg>

You should get a message telling you that you have automatically respond with an afk message is you have one set. I can't tell from the screenshot if it's working correctly. Can you list what commands you typed, in what order and the response.

 

We are not using any of your commits, absolutely none. Further more you had no knowledge what-so-ever regarding what needs to be updated in regards to the API functioning with our custom plugins.

With that attitude I certainly would not want you on my development team as I previously planned. I explained perfectly well to you why your commits were not used before hand as well told you I never requested you to attempt any updates at all. Just because we finally fully updated our chat system, doesn't mean we used any of your code.

 

Jamie forked the code on git.hc.to. The messages, and commands are exactly as I wrote them. Look through the commit history on http://git.hc.to/ecocitydevs/herochat. I'm not say you stole my code, I committed knowing it might be used by anyone. /msgalert is the give away, either Jamie rewrote perfectly working code or it's the code I wrote.

Again, over 90% of the code you submitted absolutely 100% breaks with our API, everything was re-written. Simply using the same message has nothing to do with your code.

Seeing as you have been nothing but issues and care about nothing less than to attempt to defame our administration because your "commits" were not used I see no need to have you further represent this staff team. Have a nice day.

PS: Why in the world would you post a screenshot of another development teams private plugin, do you not understand the term "private" - That code has nothing to do with us and is owned by another server entirely.

 

I'm not defaming. Your using my code and all I asked for was some recognition for the many hours I spent writing it. As for demoting me, well, I don't know what to say, seems very immature to me. I'm glad you demoted me because I don't want to work with you after this incident.

 

#1 We are not using your code, nor did I ever ask to have the project worked on by you.
#2 You've received numerous complaints in the past, and this was simply the final straw, you've done nothing but spout negativity towards this server. Not only on the forums, but in-game and team-speak.

And finally, this is a help/support thread and is no place to carry this on, should you wish to continue this conversation use the pm function.

Also if you'd like me to include what you attempted to post in the screenshot you can send me a pastie of your code and a screenshot of your name, but I have no reason whatsoever to allow you to post other server networks private repositories on this forum publicly. Don't even know what went through your head thinking that is a good idea.

 

@myminecrafter01 I've gone ahead and stripped your screenshot to show the information you thought be relevant to this post because it seems like you feel the need to spread information that I'm trying to "cover up your screenshot" when in fact I'm giving those who rightfully own that code the legal respect they deserve.

I will *not* however have you posting full on screenshots of private network repositories, I don't care what kind of drama you're attempting to start, that is far beyond what should be happening in the development community.

I'm the source owner, any code you submit to my project is under project's license. You therefore didn't read the NDA and lose ownership to said code when you leave or are dismissed from the project.

Nearly 5.... may I ask what day ECC first started? I know, not really relevant to the topic.

 

Well, I know my server project started up Oct 1st 2010, I'm sure ECC was sometime soon after... probably nov?
