I've tried to join the server a few times in the last couple hours, however when clicking either "join server" or the arrow next to the server, it freezes for a second whilst giving the "unresponsive" screen and goes back to "connecting to server", after a minute of this I get a screen stating "java.net.ConnectionExpection: Connection timed out: no further information:" Spoiler: Failed to connect to server http://i.imgur.com/Hwo20ew.png I'm on a Windows 7 PC, using SquidHQ, with a fully updated Java. It seems others are able to get onto the server, so I'd assume possibly it's something my side? Any help would be appreciated Ps. It allows me to join any other servers, but not ECC?
@BackToThePast @MadMonster_ Did that solve the problem? If it did can you try "ecocitycraft.com" again, and see if it works now.
Can you please do the following: windows key + r Click Ok Run command: ipconfig /flushdns Should show something like this: Try connecting to "ecocitycraft.com" again.
Just made some major changes to our bypasses. @MadMonster_ @BackToThePast Please use the original MC launcher and try the following: ecocitycraft.com mc.ecocitycraft.com eccgamers.com mc.eccgamers.com Let me know which work and which do not.
On the normal MC launcher: ecocitycraft.com - Still getting the same error as before mc.ecocitycraft.com - Works eccgamers.com - Works mc.eccgamers.com - Works
Do you have access to your router admin? Can you try rebooting your router please and then running the ipconfig /flushdns command again. After wards please try ecocitycraft.com
I've rebooted my router, flushed my DNS cache and tried to reconnect via the IP: ecocitycraft.com still no joy. I added ecocitycraft.com to go to 149.56.81.69 via the host files which still gave me the "unresponsive" screen, although after that finished having a fit it worked and connected me. I've now removed the ecocitycraft.com and the IP from the host file and after reflushing my DNS cache, I'm getting the same error as before and it's still not working. Not personally, however I might be able to get it; what's needed?
