Minecraft Name: Familyfurst Suggestion: Add the ability to make Erepair signs in towns, possibly with ability to add fee is wanted. Reason: A ton of newer and older players need erepairs a lot, and ask plenty on trade channel. If towns could have erepair signs, which would require permissions, and then a fee if wanted would not only cut down a little on trade chats in general, it would also help out with the players w/o erepair trying to get tp'd, then putting down a chest, etc, etc. This would just make the whole thing a more cleaner, easier, and through process. Simply warp/home to "x" location and done. Players could sell perms to it, or add people for free, w/e. Other Information: I like big butts and I cannot lie. Link to this plugin/Is this a custom addition?: How about you finally plugin one of my million idea's into the game! *cries*
Just search repair sign in the search bar. This has been suggested so very many times (even by myself actually back in April of 2012) and I do think it is a good idea, however; I'm not sure if it can be implemented. Also should mention that when you search repair signs the first 6 results were denied.
Can be implemented just a command that runs when you right click it, you can do it in vannila intact. Anyway, Shortbus lol, this is one suggestion I can get behind. +1
After reading some comments in other, similar suggestions I feel the need to mention some major points. As United said in another suggestion, the problem with repair signs is that they are 100% trustworthy and reliable and, if placed in the right spots, would eliminate the need to obtain extcommands+ at all. However, if there were a cost to a sign, as you mentioned there could be, I would find that acceptable. Free signs just destroy any need for extcommands+ whatsoever.
Definitely a +1. It would help a lot of players. I am getting sicked and tired of just trying to find someone with erep to help me in trade channel, and to help me.
^ On that note, I'd like to quote my post from a previous suggestion: Nope, you can't do that. Vanilla JSON signs could only be used by players who already have access to e-repairs via ExtCommands+, and nobody would want to teleport to a sign if they can just use /repair. (Source: https://minecraft.gamepedia.com/Commands#Raw_JSON_Text and my own tests a long time ago.)
So can essentials commands even run via clickEvents? And if so, would /execute @p override permissions?
Absolutely. The good news: Yes, /execute overrides a player's restrictions. The bad news: execute @s ~ ~ ~ repair hand appears to be treated as a console command and not as a player command, so I guess we can forget about that approach.
Repair signs were not meant for our system. They're unfortunately not something I'm interested in recoding. Sadly, you'll have to trust players still
