Minecraft Username: -Mr_Legit_337 Brief Description: -Farming, finished, put axe in enderchest-opened it up less than a minute later to continue farming-no enchantments (Eff 5, unb 3, fort 2-just got it) Instructions: Do not know/do not want to recreate/lose more enchantments. How many times did you recreate this bug?: No. It would result in another enchantment loss. Result: No results because i have not replicated it-I have heard of this bug happening to other players also Expected Result: My brand new axe is gone -_- Evidence: other players have had this happen to them + i still have my axe that is now an unenchated-worth less than 100-lump of diamond taking up space
We won't be replacing any lost items. If you have bad enchants lying around, try to replicate and record it.
Later yesterday evening (East Coast USA) my axe was back to its original enchantments. I did not do anything to fix it, so I am guessing that Bukkit worked it out. Thanks again for reviewing this thread. -Just to add, my helmet is still un-enchated, but it may be a mistake of my part. I do almost always wear that helmet, but I have a load of normal helmets that it could have been confused with.
I just checked my storage chests of items in preparation for moving them to Freecycle's finished storage facility, and discovered that just about all of the items I had collected have had their enchantments stripped. I do not check these chests that often, so I do not know if they were disenchanted before the bug fix or after. There are some other chests beside those that were untouched, so what is hit and what isn't doesn't seem to be location specific.
Wow, I really feel bad for the people who have had this issue :| P.s- Enchated? Unenchated? I see how you are a Grammatik Police Kommander
thx fer pointeng out mah grmmer flaws, me is a gewd grmmer perlice Ps: Those are spelling errors, not grammatical errors. "Grammar Police Deputy"
Just going to add this as I don't see it above, While my enchanted tools remained untouched by this, the only thing that I had that was affected was my book that I have lost its text, while it is not major at all, just want to add this since I don't think anyone else has said it.
