I've lost an eff7 so I know how it feels. I might use it for a little bit or charge a small cost to get it back (like 10k ) but I'd still return it.

 

Eh I don't know honestly. If I had really terrible past experiences with that player and we just really disliked each other I would probably keep it. But, I would most likely give it back because I would want someone to give my star tool or something special if I were to accidentally drop something.

 

I would probably do what primelval said, just a bit more for the small fine. probably all small fine of 900k or 145 dollars in donations

If it was an accident and the player asked nicely for it back, then by all means I would give it back.

It all completely depends.

Say I get an erep from someone, and they accidentally throw out their eff 7. First, I'd say, hey, um, thanks for the eff 7? Then take a screenie with it, and if they ask for it back, I would throw it back. (Now, if they threw it out, I said in an off-handed way that I had it, and they said nothing about it, then later was chatting it up in global, I would just use it. If they ever asked for it back, I would give it back.)

Now, if I were to find it somewhere and it have no indication of who it belonged to, I would ever so loudly scream into chat about it, and burow myself in my lap for about 5 minutes. Then use it right away. If somehow a user could prove it was theirs, I would charge 20k for their stupidity and give it back.
