Hello, I have just purchased my first eff 7 and would like to know some tips anyone has to get to that 20k/hour. Anything helps! Thank you!
set a macro to sell stone every few minutes. (I have my stone powertooled to /sell hand) avoid coal (I grab all I can since I'm not in a race and can afford to make less than max/hr) tear up the mining world at level 11.

If you wish to make 20k+/hour, you need a couple of tools and the macro mod, and good techniques. Requirements You'll first need a eff7 pickaxe, eff3 or more shovel and a eff5 fort pickaxe. You then have to get MacroMod (If you don't already have it.) and get @314's mining macro, that @zr2002 linked above - This will allow you to alternate between your eff7 which you use on stone and non-fortuneable ores, your shovel which you use to dig up gravel and dirt, and your fort pickaxe which you use to fortune ores. Techniques First go down to y:11, and mine a 4 block wide, 2 block high tunnel - avoid all coal when possible and get all ores possible. Pretty simple, just remember to get all ores (EXCEPT FOR COAL) Selling When your inventory is full, use /smeltall and /sellall - it sells everything in your inventory and allows you to start mining again. Hopefully that helped.
