Expected Result: If there was an expected result, then please post what was supposed to happen, as opposed to what didn't.
It is the power of the dark side. Perfectly normal action here. May I suggest you refrain from running at the edge. Nothing worse that getting thrown back into a pool of lava
This is expected. It throws you back by a few blocks...if the position at this level is solid, it searches for an empty space diewctly above, meaning a cave or the surface.
Yeah i dont get why they dont set it to send you back one block instead of like 4 or 5 normally there is 1 behind you rather then 5 blocks behind you
I guess if there is blocks 4 or 5 spaces behind you it sends you up to the closest place if there was a cave you would go there if not you go to surface
It's normal to be thrown back and upwards to avoid harm. As far as I'm aware it won't throw you into lava.
