o hai der. I DO NOT like these new prices. Although WeWinAgain said he will not change the prices, I believe it is unfair to have pumpkins at $1. I really liked it at $2, but at $1.50, I can deal with that. I want it back up, so do a lot of other people, so that way, I started this petition to tell the Game Admins what we really need in this. In this thread, just post your in-game name and a reason why you want it back. Thanks, and in the end, it will be worth it. Mine: Itsa_Spenca Now, just to make as much money pumpkin farming, it will take 1.5 (If I did my math right :S) times longer to make as much money with the $1.50 price. With this time, it can make upgrading your name (resident, mayor, etc) take longer and make it harder for people who like to farm. Again, thanks.
No. Pumpkin prices are fine and I will be really disappointed if it is changed back. They are still the best source of income.
I agree, you can still make a lot off of pumpkins and pumpkin farming is not the only source of income on the server
Think of this. You have a builder, just started, and want's Resident. As a builder, you have NO money, and can only afford diamonds. So, if you pumpkin farm, you can get more money, meaning this builder can get resident. I hated being a builder because you couldn't do anything, no one trusted you, and people often ignored you. You can't just say "Oh, but with the proper tools, it makes no difference" because IT DOES. How many builders do you see with Eff. 5 axes? NONE. You also can't just mine because everything is taken up, and mining world is only allowed for Residents+, so at that rate, you can't earn that much of an income until you get resident. I am doing this for the underdog-type people, or the builders. You need to look from that point of view. This server is starting to turn into a dictator-type of running. Period.
Pumpkin prices won't change. see any of the other threads people made why. Btw I made my residency a long time ago with a small reedfarm and some mining. reeds were 0.10 back then, now it's 0.40. It took me only 6 days (while being extremely lazy) I could've gotten it within 1-2 days if I wasn't lazy.
I was seeing the other threads, and look back at my first post. I said, "How many builders do you see with Eff. 5 axes? NONE." Seriously, how many? I see you like what TKick wrote, and I say for my position that what TKick said is true and I agree. Also, look at what people are saying. They want it back. You seem to only look at your own position and only what you game admins think. Look from a builder's perspective for once.
kuke could you provide average per an hour for different ways of income to show pumpkin farming is still one of the best and easiest ways and it would make more sence to lower it more than to raise it up again. I think that it is you Itsa_Spenca who is only thinking about themselve because you probably have a pumpkin farm and feel that pumpkins should rise to help people that is not how economy want we don't want people get ranks really quick, ranks should be a hard thing to get not something you can get in a day. Kuke and wewinagain have worked out the right prices for these items and it is not made for them as it does not advantage them in anyway so i think you should just realise price isn't changing and either find a different way to earn money or carry on pumpkin farming as i think it probably still gets the most money per hour.
Pumpkins aren't the only source of income, you should try something else. Builders also don't have access to 11 floor 200x200 pumpkin farms, so it's not going to be a very good way to make money for them anyways. You can make plenty of money by doing things like mining and farming reeds or wheat.
The fact that you even think that builders 100% rely on pumpkins is why prices were lowered. Lets say 70% of the players rely only on pumpkins, and 30% farm wheat, reed, and also mine. The 70% will make a lot more money then the 30%. It will get to the point that the 70% will get so much money that they will just keep building more and more 200x200 farms, while the 30% still mines, and farms wheat. Then the game admins lower the price of pumpkins. The 70% is now crying over prices, while the 30% are happy that some balenceis being restored to the economy. Just because the pumpkin farmers don't make money as fast, doesn't mean they can't make money. Is that really that bad? With the increase of players joining the server, there have been more and more mayors and presidents than ever. When I first joined the server (6 months ago) there were mabye 3-6 presidents on at a time, not 7-16 as I see now. That is probably one of the main reasons Andrew decided to increase application prices. Andrew, Moderators and the Game Admins work hard to ensure that all players can enjoy themselves and have fun on the server. They give so much of their time to make sure that this is achieved. I can't believe that you would make such a statement that makes the game admins seem as though they do not care about the other players. That is rediculous. I think the pumpkin farmers should stop thinking about themselves and learn to live with the fact that pumpkins are not the only source of income Some farmers have adapted to the change while others still think that changing prices is bad for the ENTIRE population of the server.
i would think 1.25 for 1 pumpkin cus its half way between the argument and its a reasonable price idont mind what happens but it would be nice for them to go up a little
