Hello, Recently, I stumbled across a very cool piece of online software that let's you create an online magazine. I thought it would be a great idea if we had a bi-weekly or monthly magazine that the entire community could read. Some things I thought about that the magazine could include. News/Current Events Economic and Game tips Interesting and Debatable Topics written by users Interviews Art Spawn shop Advertisements (Wouldn't be a magazine without them ) Featured Town I would love feedback for possible magazine subjects. um i like the idea.... dont knwo how it would bedistributed... EDIT maybe using a /kit magazine and having a custom book given out
I would post an link that users could follow to the magazine. EDIT: This is an online thing not an in-game thing
Hi @Laxcd11 , I find this idea a very good one and i hope it goes forward. I would love to write something in the magazine every time it comes out. I would not expect to be paid or anything like that! I don't mind what I write about each time but I love to do stuff like this! I'm a member of a writers group at school and i'm told I have "a way with words" I'm very passionate about this server and I'd love to help out with this. If I could help you out by writing a weekly/monthly passage for the magazine either pm me in game, reply to my comment or inbox me on the forums. I would also love to help out with advertising the magazine and gathering stories and/or pictures/videos for it. I really hope you choose me to help out with this if it goes through! Totally worth doing. If/when ads are done, you get paid.. for making an online magazine. Which means money. Which means good. Nice find!
Glad you guys are interested in the idea. Eventually I will start a forum group message and we can figure out everyone's strengths and weaknesses, then assign jobs from there. Once again thanks for the support.
Any ideas when the group will be created @Laxcd11 ? you could do it through forum inbox to avoid necro posts, unesacery comments
Yeah that is my plan. It could be started as early as today so we can get some early brain storming done.
I like it, and another idea could be like "town of the week" something like that. Where you can showcase one that looks nice.
