I haven't even touched the settings, but I think mine pulses every 50,000 keys. Back in the days this app worked a little differently. I am not used to the new interference- etc, and I wont really bother, as long as i get what I need.
I am not sure about this particular app. I do think it's not appropriate but I will not let me be disturbed by that
The uptime separates the time when you joined whatpulse from the time you have been actually using it. It tries to give a more accurate picture of your computing and keyboard habits. The uptime is registered by the time whatpulse is running in your computer. Since whatpulse starts automatically on startup, the uptime also gives you an idea for how long your computer had been 'ready for use' since your registration in whatpulse. Uptime does not run when computer is on sleep. Uptime case seen here -- http://i.imgur.com/6rsTfVb.jpg -- shows the time my computer was actually running between pulses. For example between my last two pulses from 2015-01-23 13:09 to 2015-01-22 14:35, the actual uptime is 17h 56s and during that time period I hit 50,000 keys and 11,178 clicks. In conclusion, since whatpulse automatically starts when computer startups or comes out of sleep, uptime shows the real time you have used your computer. Hope this helped
