I've started building an interstate system in my two towns, Bertigstadt and Strauchstadt. So far I have 2 highway segments built. There's an overpass/ surface street intersection, a bridge spanning a small valley, and probably the most impressive, a fully functional cloverleaf! The cloverleaf intersects a highway from downtown Bertigstadt with a bypass that goes through Strauchstadt. It'll eventually wrap around Bertigstadt. Everything is sized for players to ride horses on. The cloverleaf is a work in progress, I'm probably gonna take out most of the dirt on one side and make it an elevated highway.
Its pretty weird because I have drove on that exact type of intersection in real life and in a game. Very creative idea for connecting towns
Thanks! It's never flat and straight enough in most areas of ECC for us to ride horses for long distances without having to dodge trees, buildings or jump up and down hills. This would let us really ride horses and make them useful for distance. It looks cool too! I'd like to gain at least another four town claims around my current 2 towns so I can do a half loop around Bertigstadt through five towns. The city's on an ocean front or else I'd go all the way around. I was surprised, the cloverleaf wasn't as hard to build as I thought it would be, it was more tedious than anything.
