As you may be aware we are currently hosting an ECC Trailer contest. If you have any questions post them here and I'll add them to the Q&A below. Q: Can me video have a water mark on it? A: No, we need the videos to be clear of watermarks as they will be used to advertise our server. Q: Will it have to be uploaded to youtube? A: Yes Q: Are all applications accepted? A: Unless we have reason to reject you, yes. Q: Does anti-cheat mean I can use commands such as /tppos A: No, those are staff commands, not cheats. Q: Is there chatting on the test server? A: Yes, for your videoing we would recommend disabling your mine craft chat. Q: Does the music in the videos need to be copyright free? A: Yes, we do not want copyright issues.
Alright, if this question has already been answered, then sorry, but can we use dropbox if we don't have a youtube account? @Revanrose6
You could. The test server was just optional, but make sure to turn your chat off if you are filming in the main server.
By copyright, I'm using iMovie which allows me to use things from iTunes (I believe, if not, I'm just a total noob because I really don't know anything on iMovie ), does that mean I'm infringing copyrights?
You state that we can fly, but, when I go into the nether, I don't have the ability to do so because I don't have fly+. Is it supposed to do that? As well, I don't have access to the aether, which I would like to include in my video. Is that part of the anti-cheat that denies access?
By that, we mean that anti cheat is off. If you don't have access to the /fly command, then that will not be changed. Using a fly mod, however, shouldn't be stopped. I'd like it pointed out that Anti-cheat being off does not give you access to ANY commands you didn't already have.
