This would have to be explained very well if it were to be implemented, a lot of ECC users are younger and might not understand what "stocks" really are. Interesting idea though.
I've only seen one person suggest something like this that sounded like it could work but I doubt I'll be able to find the suggestion. Your suggestion, on the other hand, was clearly typed up in a matter of about 30 seconds and offers no new insights as to how it would work on ECC and if there's any kind of plugin that could allow that to work. I would like to see a stock exchange on ECC, but this suggestion sucks. Please use effort next time

IMHO we already have a stock market of some kind...with the varying prices of nstars it's like a simple supply-and-demand-relation.
I think the greatest challenge to this is how exactly to implement it. Are there companies? What makes the data set? How are the variables adjusted?
Read an idea on another thread...item stock value is defined by the total amount of the item existing in Legacy and rising. So, every single player would be able to influence the market with mining and /Sell.
