ECC is Dying, it will be Dead in a few years

1. There are logs to prove that you advertised/said an IP in PM.
2. What can they do to compensate? Introducing ECD into the economy will inflate and subsequently destroy it.
3. This is pointless.

 

A. There are staff members that specifically check chat logs for advertising
B. Your friend wasn't the only person ever scammed. That's not our fault or our problem. ECC didn't allow everything. That is how all scams are dealt with and you don't need to become hostile because the staff members did their jobs like they were meant to.
C. This server has more than just 200 active members. There are hundreds if not thousands of players that are mere residents and builders, but they are there and because of them the server will live.
D. This server has had around 200 people on at peak during the day for over a year now. It hasn't lowered, hasn't raised, but it has persisted. You need to do more research on your theory of the server dying before anyone agrees or believes you that actually knows what they are talking about.
E. And yes, this is indeed pointless as you're not the only person to be banned with a friend scammed. You're just making a big fuss out of a video game that you can be unbanned from by simply taking 20 minutes out of your time to read the rule you broke and write an appeal.
F. ECC isn't allowing anything horrible to happen, ECC's staff is following the protocol that has been followed for as long as there has been a server. It's not their fault you decided to break a rule you thought you could get away with just because it wasn't a public advertisement, and even if it was by accident read the last sentence of "E."

 

And if you don't care about our comments, why did you post this in the first place? And you're repeating yourself. Stop.

 

No. Andrewkm and the administration do not have to. Most staff don't have access to logs.

As I've said, I have been here longer than you and your statement is false. It had 350+ people on back in January 2012, but that lasted a month or two and then it lowered down to 200 and it has stayed ever since. I know what I'm talking about, and you don't. I believe you need to pay attention quite a bit more than I do my friend.

As it was well said by @Ctoolme , Staff has access to logs. This means we can investigate and search for Advertising being made via PMs.
Our Server Rules dictate: "Other Minecraft servers may not be mentioned under any circumstance. "
And as you said "I might of said a different server in chat" in our last post, I'd say that's reason enough.
We never, NEVER, ban without a reason. The Staff team is always being monitored and we follow strict rules to deal with things. If you can't admit that you might have done something illegal then don't go and start a flame thread trying to deflect the hit and make ECC look bad. You were correctly banned, and as almost every banned user, you are given the opportunity to appeal. I'd suggest you try that instead of making silly flaming threads.
