In the past few months, the members of ECC have seen a large drop in diamond worth. i have thought of a possible idea to fix this, for what is Ecocitycraft without it's economy? i propose that ECC initiates a tax on diamonds collected once a month. the diamonds would then be destroyed or stored in AndrewKM's vault. the tax would be rank-based, so builders would give 1 diamond, residents would give 5, and so on.
Or just sell them for $90 still. Trust me they still sell at that price, it just takes a day or so longer than the lower price diamonds. P.S. This belongs in the suggestion forum.
diamonds are not in demand like they used to be - the cost of repairing tools are much cheaper with more players donating for extcommands+ - more competitive selling of diamonds in the expanded market area driving players to out price each other - consistent supply with mining world regeneration's each month - villagers in mining world providing large quantities of diamonds as trade items it's very easy to find trade signs in the market area with large quantities of diamonds at $35 each. easy way to revive the diamond market is for the server to (at least temporarily) allow /sell hand at something like $50 - $75 each to encourage the the current stock piles to be destroyed. $50 seems like a fair minimum price since fish are $50 each and you can easily catch a fish every 20seconds.
Hmm.. if it took one guy being told that he couldn't crash the market I say we tell one person they can't raise diamond prices. >:] But seriously jus sell them higher. Taxes would suck. And what happens if someone doesn't have diamonds?
It`s happening right now xD jakey and rag bought out the market of all cheap diamonds....... :3 Prices are going / / / / also known as up....
Ya it is way to hard to make for andrew and could stop people from playing also the awnser is to just make the diamond price higher
