So, because you all wanted transparency with development, and I've been interested in a somewhat formal Q&A on TS. Here's what I'm going to do; I'll host a somewhat weekly podcast on Teamspeak, likely on Sunday afternoons. I'll be in Teamspeak answering questions that anyone has, and I'll record it and upload to soundcloud for people to listen to afterwards. Now, before this is live; I'm going to put a little bit of a disclaimer. I cannot answer very very specific questions. Meaning that anything that is custom to ECC I cannot explain how it works deep in code, nor can I explain or answer any questions that are not appropriate/proper for me to answer. On the other hand; you're free to ask any question you'd like. I'll be the judge of whether or not I can answer it. This means you can ask about how things are going to progress, what my opinions on something are, or what I think of a suggestion posted in the forums. Now. Second disclaimer. You understand that being in the room means that your question will be read aloud and have your username attached to it if you do not want to verbally ask your question. Post any questions you have regarding this below, and I'll be happy to answer it. For the obvious one. When? - I hope to do it about 2:30 pm EST on Sundays. That includes today if there's enough interest. NEXT PODCAST: JULY 11 My To-Do List
Now, you will have to excuse me if I'm late on occasion, I do have a full time job in the summer, as well I am off to university in september. So I may not be 100% punctual.
why is this being done on teamspeak? shouldn't the goal of this be to answer as many peoples' questions as possible, for greater transparency, not simply cater to the people who have teamspeak? as well as it being harder to understand people over teamspeak. this should be done as a simple moderated q and a.
Here Please note that this is a wishlist, not a guarantee. I have no ETA nor do I even know if it will happen.
The goal of it is to have an easy to use and fast means of discussion. If people cannot make it to ts, they can post their questions in this thread and I will post a reply once it is over, or I will give them a timestamp to listen at.
Due to a family dinner, I'll be moving the podcast to be July 11, aka monday. The time should be around 6pm or so
