Hello I Have heard of alot of Modding using optifine errors I decided to Help everyone by creating an ECC Client, Your probaly like wait whats an ECC Client Well What I will Create it to be is a Client with the most popular texturepacks all the commands for ECC a direct link to the forums Item ids if your making a trade sign all the mini Mods that are allowed For example Nightvision, and Autoswitcher. This Will take a while to code You must understand since I am still learning coding If you wish to help me with this coding you must have skype or ventrilo for ECC and and a little bit of java coding Im fine if your still learning java coding You can only get better by helping and whatchiung others I believe. I will slowly Update this forum. I had to write this really quickly because too many people were spamming me with Pms mostly saying whats an ecc Client etc. If you want more info please MAIL me in game I will respond ASAP. I need honest opinons below if I should continure with this idea or leave it.
Desperate attempt to get accepted at moderator? This is the first time I've ever seen you try to reach out to the ECC community, and it just so happens to be on the same day you apply for mod. Edit: I'm sorry if this seems harsh, but I just don't like people who act nice just so they can get accepted as mod.
On the Minecraft forums you're not allowed to give out your .jar file, I am not sure if that applies here as well.
He would have to make it a zip file and have users use WinRAR to add it to their own minecraft.jar's.
Either way, call it paranoid but I don't accept anything from anyone I don't trust. I only download from links that are trusted and used often. A lot of piracy goes on out there as well as viruses and malware. I am not accusing you of anything of the sort, but I still won't download it unless one of the developers approves the file.
Those are some of the most incredible run-on sentences I've read in a very long time. As I said in-game, you seem to be confused as to what a modded client is. It sounds like you want to make an ECC-legal modpack, which is quite a bit different from a client mod. It's also much more simple, as nearly all most useful mods get along just fine. And for that very reason, all this seems unnecessary.
Okay If your Scared to download the Client I will have the devolper me4502 test it for me And the Reason I am doing this is to get better on my coding and learn more about coding. But This is a modded Client Because I will have All the Commands on ECC in a search bar on the top with Well everything ECC likes you know.
I agree with rikari, keyloggers are so hard to find in files, it is scary. I am also paranoid about downloading from unknown sources.
It's best to download CJB or the mods from on the minecraft wiki. Or just play Vanilla. Thatguy, wait until high school (if your not already in it) to learn coding or wait for the modding API to come out. At my high school, they offer coding classes for Java. I'm taking it next year.
I would guess that even high school coding classes would not be sufficient enough to learn how to properly code a perfectly working Minecraft client.
Ok But the reason i am doing this is to get better at coding i will get a devolper also to check the files and source for and virus keyloggers etc but im doing this for fun for me not exactly for ecc
