WELCOMEHello ladies and gentlemen and welcome to an announcement for the ECC blog! *Bows to applause* First off I need to point out the fact that at the moment that this is being released I will be on vacation that I wasn’t really aware I was going to be going on until the last second so I apologize if you find that this somewhat disappointing. But do not worry because I will be posting a new edition on either Saturday night or some time Sunday that will be featuring a town of the week! Yes! For the first time I will be featuring a town in an edition that is typically reserved for only writing. As you was all assume, I’m doing this as a kind of “I’m sorry for the lateness of the next edition” treat. Just because I’m featuring a town in the next edition doesn’t mean that in the edition after that I won’t be featuring a town and a build. I’m simply featuring a town as a kind of forgiveness offering. Now, on to some more interesting things, in the pool I have all the days of the week listed. For this poll you can choose multiple answers (i.e days). This poll will be used to (in part) decide on what my schedule will be for posting editions of the blog, therefore when choosing days, please only choose 1-2 different days that you would like to see me have as set posting days. If I see that someone is voting more than 1-2 times their votes will be disregarded. I don’t mean to be kind of harsh but as I’m only one person I can’t be writing 1000+ word long every other day because I will quickly run out of subject matter. Finally, in the comments bellow I would like to know if you all think that I should feature not only builds/towns but also farms IF they are somewhat creatively built or unique in some fairly substantial fashion. Saturday or Monday is my vote. I'd love to get off of school and look forward to the ECC blog the next day. Or I'd like to see the blog starting off my school week on a good note.
Anvil, you gotta add a service so where we can pay you to tag us in each edition. Sometimes I miss the new edition for a day or two, and want to read it as soon as it comes out. You should charge like 1k for a lifetime membership of being tagged in each new edition. I'd definitely buy it. Just make a list of the names, and tag them all in the smallest print. I have actually thought of this before but I'm not sure how I feel about charging people. What I hope is to introduce a thread that readers can "watch" (click the watch thread link) and then every time I release a new addition I will announce it on that thread and therefore all readers who watch that thread will be informed. I really do appreciate your enthusiasm with the blog and at some point I feel I need to recognize this. Thank you, Anvildash
Eh, perhaps, still seems a bit slower. As for charging people, it's only optional, otherwise you'll be flooded with requests. And, this is an economy server, people kinda expect it. But I was all for this blog when you started it
