On 4/30 i was melon farming at otter farms and started getting to the end of the row. When i got to the very end i proceeded to get stuck in a melon (which happens frequently but i get out by wildly swinging my sword and jumping around). It could be due to melons growing inside of me. When i got out of that melon it was at the end of the row and then i had an animation like i was stuck even though i was out of the melons. It was like getting teleported back to the same position when you try to get out. Once i got out i was at the edge of ecc because otter farms is in the corner and started getting the You Are At The Edge of ecc text. Then my screen froze near the edge of ecc and then i saw myself drowning aka the water bubbles. I tried holding down my mouse and holding down the keys to try to get the screen unfrozen. When it unfroze i was dead and lost my rental msword. I couldn't have died due to drowning because there was no water near where i was. The places where there was it was impossible to drown at. The first water area was the one at the edge of ecc(near ice caps) and its impossible to pass that barrier and jump into the water. The the second place being the rows of water that fertilize the watermelon and its impossible to drown in one of those. The first thing i did was pm @kimi2QT and she told me to pm a game admin. I proceeded to pm Revan and she told me to pm Stolio. I started a conversation with @OtterInAOnesie @Revanrose6 and @Stolio . Otter gave her sword # so they could track it down. I am writing this because i feel like he isn't looking in to it because when i look at the conversation it says last read:never. I want for someone to look into this and see why it is so glitchy near the edge of ecc. So nobody who goes through otter farms has to suffer the fate i did. When you look into it i was wondering if the sword could be returned due to me dying to a glitch and it was not in my control.
I am not the only one to have suffered a glitch at the edge of ecc. Clif says he has been shoved underground at the edge of ecc. My theory is that I died because while the game was frozen and I was at the edge of ecc that was when I was shoved under the melon platform and into water therefore making me stuck under there until I died and my screen unfroze.
I tried adding a screenshot of the discord message between me and clif and him saying that he was thrown underground into lava at the edge of ecc but I can’t.
Hello @TankNoodle, Sorry to hear you drowned. Looks like you went past the melons and made it into the water somehow. In order for us to return and destroyed items due to a bug, you must provide a way to properly replicate this. Please provide the steps following the standard bug report format found here: https://ecocitycraft.com/forum/threads/format-bugs-exploits.8371/ Remember, if you ever get knocked into water like this, you can always /spawn or /home.
The thing is I would do /home but my screen froze. Since this is a bug can I get the sword returned because this was not my fault but the game glitching out
Unfortunately, to get a tool returned, we must have a way to properly reproduce this bug. Please try what you did before and see if you can recreate it
Just once, and let us know exact steps taken. If we can successfully reproduce these steps, we will be able to return your tool.
