As much as i would love to be able to rid ecc of donation scamming, it would take wayyy to much coordination between the players and mods. The mods alreeady have their hands full, and as andrewkm said, the server will never support in game money to usd gift card donation transactions
-1 mods shouldn't be responsible to hold onto your money for you. Its Your responsibility to find a trusted user to donate to.
Uh, NO. This would completely ruin business in this style, and as the people above have said, the mods are terribly busy. The server allows donation feature selling, but does not handle or support it other than banning for scamming.
At first, I thought this would be nice. However, after some thinking and looking at comments, I realized that this would just give the mods another burden and ruin the HARDCORE ECONOMY of ECC. Getting scammed is a part of why it's called HARDCORE. Also, what if the mod loses the money by accidently clicking a sign that takes money or putting it in a sign and have it glitch away and disappear?
Erm, if andrew supported user-user eco/donation trades officially, then he MIGHT consider this. But he doesn't. So, no thanks. Minus one.
I think it should be up to each individual mod as the whether they wish to support this and shouldn't officially supported.
