Minecraft Name:Revanrose6 Suggestion: ExtCommands++ or An Additiona to ExtCommands+ Add a new command that allows you to repair another persons items ie /repairall Revanrose6 or /repairhand Revanrose6 This would repair everything in my inventory or the one thing they are holding. This would allow for long distance repairs. Reason: 1) Cut down on theft during repairs. This could actually completely remove theft during repairs if done properly. You could PM a player "I need an e-repair." "$200" *pay $200* Then they do /repairall [Playername] 2) You don't need to TP to the person or do anything in order to fix their stuff. It is safer and less time consuming. Any Other Information: Link To This Plugin:N/A
+1. Very much agree to this. I hate TP'ing to someone, do the repair, go back to where I was only to TP somewhere else. Much easier to get paid and do it where you are.
This idea is very useful and deducts the amount of time it takes to TP to the users and converse with them. Not to mention the TP cooldown that is present without TP+. This command would allow for quick and easy repairs and would allow you to carry on working without having to stop and TP. And the element of theft is finally eliminated; no more transfers of melon swords or pumpkin axes, thus ensuring the utmost safety. +1.
This would be very useful however what if someone lied about the number o items in there inventory. You do /repair all and repair 10 instead of 1.
That is a very valid point. In hindsight, I wouldn't mind really, a simple command and I get $200 and help another person. Maybe if the standard priced increased then this wouldn't be such an issue, or the option in selling unlimited e-repairs springs to mind if you want to avoid this scenario. I don't mind how many I repair frankly, as this method saves an ample amount of time, thus not bothering me.
While I do like the fact that this would save MUCH time, it's part of the hardcore economy that needs to stay. Its always hard to find a trusted a e-repair and that is what adds an aspect of fear into all of the people. If this were to happen I feel like ECC would lose a great amount of hardcore that it has promised to bring.
-1 I do not think it is not that hard to go to the person and repair the items. I hugely agree to what sick said, and i could not have said it better myself.
I think the main con to this would be that the price for e-repairs in game would drop of extremely, and few folks would have a reason to buy Extcommands+. In the end, that ends up hurting the server for something that would be convenient for those who don't buy Extcommands+. A workaround may be to have a New Donation Feature set. Service: $30 /service <playername> <command> -Sends a request to listed player to execute donation feature commands you have access to for the listed player, with options /saccept and /sdeny with a 30 second window. If a cooldown for the donation feature applies, it will count against you and not the listed player. You may not service a command for a feature you are currently using. Works with: Back Command, Teleport, Stealth, ExtCreations, Feed Service+: $70 Works with: ExtCommands, ExtCommands+, Fly, Investigator, Survival Games Kits This would make sure that the added security of these features demands a premium price over those selling services which cannot be executed this securely. It also helps the server get more donations from those looking to offer services securely.
I'm totally confused. If we had this feature, we would be able to let someone use one of our feature for 30 seconds?
This has to be added! I'm always nervous about getting scammed form repairs but now I won't! I think this should just come with extcommands+ though +1
I like what your saying but basically saying that I have donated for /back and tp for nothing. But I do like this idea.
Potential market problem that may arise: What about users like myself, who do it free? with this command, i could type /repairall [space][space] and repair everyone's everything instantly, allowing no one to make money and everyone to get it free. it essentially makes it an unsellable (or much cheaper) donation feature. (Just playing a bit o' devil's advocate ) EDIT: In addition, there would need to be an accept command. otherwise, we could troll people who are trying to break tools for one reason or another, or constantly lag peoples tools by making them disappear and then reappear with full durability
Well rabid makes a good point, if someone were to constantly repair everyone's tools, they would be worth less than they are now.
