Reason: I think this would be a good idea, because a lot more people are looking to buy donation features now, and less people are selling them. Any Other Information: Maybe setting a price of 4.5k per USD, to let people donate more often without having to wait long periods of time for someone to sell one. So, Andrew will buy your EcoDollars with his money to donate to himself? I hope I am getting this right... but EcoDollars are useless to Andrew... they won't pay the bills!
Well, I know it might take away from the money Andrew gets to pay the bills but it would take money out of the economy, and another cool way to aquire donation features.
You can always have a user donate for you. There are several trustworthy players that will do donations for ecodollars. The point of donations is getting money for the server to help it stay up and running.
The main point of selling donation features is to get some real life money to be able to pay the server's running cost, which obviously Ecodollars can't afford, and upgrades which improve the experience of it for all players. Also, in a hypothetical situation, if it was implemented it wouldn't be set in such a relatively affordable amount that is 4.5k per USD when it comes to something that you could buy at any time you wish (and implies a real life currency). Some users sell higher than that, and have actually helped out many users. Too much money would eventually get out of the economy aswell, I think.
This would degrade the value of donation features. Though I myself can see the benefits of such a suggestion, donation features are there for a reason.
I know this will likely never happen, but if it did, it should be priced double the market rate that player-to-player transactions are at.
Bad idea. No more donations would happen, eventually making the server go down for good. Bad idea, and will never, EVER, happen.
If this is implemented, the prices would have to be super high. For example: 500k or more for a $15 feature.
Technically I believe this is illegal due to laws in some places in USA.. I looking into something a while ago when I tried to set up a server for a different game and wanted to give prizes for bein good player
This will NEVER happen. If you want to buy Donation features then do it from trusted people or with your own money. The donation features are what keeps this server alive, if everyone could just get them with EcoDollars then the server woudn't get any money, the bills will no longer be paid and ECC will die.
This will most likely never happen, the server needs donations to stay up. The only way I could possibly see this happening is if Andrew somehow wins a big lottery in real life!
