Hm...what was the cause of the crash? Can you post the crash log? Not sure whether the kind of the crash can be connected to it. Was only the rod gone, or your full inv as well? (Including armour etc)
it's happened before and it will happen again, I'm sorry to say this but you most likely wont be compensated. I have had this happen twice to me in the past. I hope you can keep your head up
Like Add says, compensation is not usually an option but you may have better luck if you put this in the bugs/ errors thread. I have also lost full inventories 3 times in the past 1 1/2 years and have never been compensated.
Me and @The_Walrus_8 sold everything we had to get another rod, we are around 500k if anyone is selling one, plase let us know <333
