Hello Potential Co-mayors, My town of Crannington is getting prepared to be reopened, and as such I am looking for a co-mayor that will be able to manage and run the town. While I will retain full ownership of the town, the user who becomes the co-mayor will be in-charge of the day to day affairs, and will have the ability to improve the town and change some of the layout. While I will reserve the right to overrule any decision done within the town, and the right to remove the applicant anytime that I see fit, I hope it does not come to that. The position is available to any user that is ranked resident and higher, and is not a region owner in any active towns, as the time dedicated will be split among the towns. The applicant may be a member of the town, and live in as many as they want, though becoming an owner makes the applicant invalid to apply and grounds for removal if it happens during the time they are a co-mayor. I will be picking anywhere from 0 - 2 applicants that apply, at my discretion, I plan to leave this post open for about a week, though I may decided to choose the applicants earlier or later than said week. Below these paragraphs I will be leaving a list of requirements, a list of responsibilities, benefits, and the application itself. Please note, that applying means you accept the terms that are listed below, and I may remove the user from their position at any time if I feel the user is not acting upon their responsibilities or leaving the town with a bad name. This includes, though not limited to, neglecting the town, failing to fulfill responsibilities, and receiving a valid ban on the server. A user will be removed from the region owner list, and added to the member list for three days to remove all their belongings. Requirements: User must spend a decent amount of time on the server, I am looking for a user that spends around five or more hours on the server, though I will only require a user to have three or more hours. Also, a user that is on generally when I am, early and late evening EST (UTC -500). User must be able to sell plots, as in a user cannot be too shy to attempt to sell plots. User must be able to log-in daily, though exceptions can be made where they are needed. User must be willing to talk to town residents. User must know how to post Lwc and grief reports, if they do not, be able to learn how to do it, as it is part of the job. User must know and uphold town rules, found here or in the portal room(portal is located 18th floor, green row) Responsibilities: User must fulfill the requirements daily. User must give half of all plot sales to me. User must report all rule breaks to me, even if the issue has been resolved. User must be able to help in town projects, whether it involves funding, blocks, or labor to the project. User will be in charge of managing workers for projects that require workers. This task includes the hiring of the workers, the payments of the workers, supplying the materials required, and making sure work is done in a timely fashion. The applicant may ask me to compensate them for any costs incurred if I asked for the project to be done. User must attempt to sell plots for at least an hour while they are online, if there are vacant plots in town. User must spend some time within the town while they are online, and chat with town members. A town that keeps the mayors distance from the residence doesn't form a good community. More responsibilities may be added later, though user will be informed of the changes before hand. Benefits: Access to all normal town benefits like the town farm, e-repairs and more! A choice of any vacant plot in the town, I would recommend a 10x10 myself, however the choice is there. Resigning this position will either have this plot returned to town in 3 days, or requiring you to purchase it. A 50% discounts to any plots in any other towns under the control of my nation(towns I posted a town app for), which currently only consists of Fresnia and Redacre, and neither of the which are currently selling plots. More benefits may be added later as I get more features, or the town(s) are expanded upon. First off, I would like to thank all of those that took the time to apply for this position, there were many good applicants in this thread. After reading through this thread multiple times, and making many tough decisions, I have decided the applicant who will get the position is Quieted. I will add you to the region owner list after I talk to you in-game to make sure there is no misunderstandings, and you are still able to decline the position after I review it in-game with you. If such situation does happen, I will pick another applicant from this thread. I wish all of you guys the best of luck on whatever you decided to embark on next ^_^.
