IGN: @bombas123456 Users Involved in this Contract: @IzTheWizKid General Purpose of Contract: eff7 sharing I (the contract initiator) agree to the following terms, and agree that my failure to complete such terms will result in a breach of contract, as outlined in Rule 3: I, @bombas123456 will provide @IzTheWizKid with 250k before June 28th when I go to camp in return for the sharing of the eff7 (I return 7 weeks after departure). If he decides to sell it before I leave for camp or after I come back @IzTheWizKid shall consult with me first for my consent. If @IzTheWizKid sells it while I, @bombas123456 am at camp, he shall provide me with 40% of what it was sold for (It should be sold for 850k). If the pick is lost, destroyed or broken and etc... Which ever one did this to the pick, they shall repay the other a full 850k within 6-8 weeks of the destruction. The other user(s) involved with this contract must agree to the following terms: @IzTheWizKid will put the pick in a private chest only @bombas123456 and himself have access to as well as provide me with a way to get to this chest. He will also comply with the terms stated in my portion of terms. (Especially the 850k part). @IzTheWizKid will also provide me with access to said pick within 24hours of contract approval. I agree that the terms in this contract are subject to all of EcoCityCraft's rules, including the rules listed specifically in this forum. I understand that the contract may be affected by future changes in EcoCityCraft rules and server updates, and I accept that due to the possibility of such changes, this contract may be at my own risk. I understand that the contents of this contract are subject to staff assessment, review and approval before it is a binding contract under EcoCityCraft rules. Well, guys -- for starters, the server doesn't enforce open-ended contracts. Is this intended to be a one-time payment in return for access to this eff7 forever? Please clarify. @IzTheWizKid @bombas123456
Umm, To be honest i don't know what you mean by "open-ended" but yes this is for access to it forever.
Well, the server can't enforce a contract that lasts forever, I'm afraid. Would you like me to leave the thread open so you can adjust the contract? I don't think it can be approved along these lines.
Okay, but before i edit it in, how long can a contract be enforced? Just so that I have an idea of how long this can be enforced.
@bombas123456 @IzTheWizKid I discussed with @jmichael214 and the fact that this is a contract for tool sharing that your indefinite timeframe is fine, the tool will be under contract to be shared until it leaves your possession while complying with the contract or you write another contract to void the sharing of an eff7 in this one. However, there are a few things that do need to be changed. This is open-ended, you guys need to decide on what price the pick will be sold for before-hand should it be decided that it should be sold. That way we know how much is to be 40% to be repaid should we need to enforce anything. Since you put an 850k payback for it in a later term, perhaps this could be the price you agree to sell it at. We won't be approving this contract of a possible 850k in one month, while it is included in the contract it will need to abide by our policies. We usually look for about 100-150k a week. We would however find about 850k in 6-8 weeks acceptable. Also, every name mentioned needs to be tagged. There are one or two missed in your post @bombas123456
Okay @ClarinetPhoenix Thanks for telling me that this will be enforced until another contract voids it. Also I fixed the tags and everything else you said to fix. now all we need is @IzTheWizKid's agreement and I think we should be fine.
