Minecraft Name: t_bone199205 Suggestion: Consider allowing for users to apply for the /fill command to be used on towns. Reason: This would be similar to a world edit, however seeing as it will be an implemented command it might not lag the server quite as bad as a world edit would. Any Other Information: The allowed blocks could be air, cobblestone, stone, gravel, sand, dirt, and water. Link To This Plugin: Future 1.8 command
+1. I'm not sure if it would lag much, and if it does -1. However, assuming the lag isn't too bad I'd like to see this. I suggest that we make the apps expensive though because I think that it would be nicer if they were more rare than just a world edited town every couple blocks.
fill the whole town or just a selected region? Either way, this would be just like worldedit. A large scale block/chunk change. There's no way to avoid the lag.
Wouldn't be able to use water unless you had the feature. +1 only if the lag isn't horrible and if apps are relatively expensive.
I think this could be a cool idea. We could make it where GA's, etc can do the applications if it doesnt cause an extraordinary amount of lag.
The minecraft 1.8 update will be implementing their own world edit features, so an external mod/plugin won't necessarily be needed anymore.
Still will cause same effect /lag cause same effect Would be cool if it don't tho Still world edits... Meh would need to be expensive Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Yes but world edit uses two "/" so for example: "//wand" ", /fill", "//set" so it shouldn't be a problem
If you use world edit this plugin is really good at killing the lag i use it my self http://www.spigotmc.org/resources/asyncworldedit.327/
-1 I think its part of the game to fill in or break blocks to create a nice flat place for your town. It adds a nice challange
