Felon Username: alpert3925 Complaint: Scammed me out of a $10usd giftcard. alpert3925 advertised in /ch tr that he wanted to buy a giftcard for 50k. I agreed and wrote a contract in the forums. He agreed on the contract and I purchased the giftcard. I realize now I should have waited until the contract was locked, but I was new to it all. He edited the contract to remove his approval and still hasn't paid me. I understand that I am at fault and do not expect to get my money back, but I wanted it to be known that he is a scammer. Evidence: I can provide a trasaction id # if needed. contract: http://www.ecocitycraft.com/forum/threads/contract.82386/ Additional Information:
Hello Spaenjj, Did you and Alpert agree to terms in-game? Considering Alpert did not agree to the Contract, we are unable to use it as evidence, but if you have evidence of the deal in-game we will be able to act off of that. I'll be giving you 24 hours to provide new evidence, thanks. alpert3925, could you please shed some light on the situation? Left Unlocked for 24 Hours
I know I probably shouldn't post here but: Certain moderators I don't know if all can see edited posts on the forums. Isn't it proof if he signed the contract appropriately and then edited it once Spaenjj purchased the gift card? If the original unedited post by Alpert was agreeing to the terms, then that should be more then enough proof to show that his intention was to scam considering he waited for it to be purchased to edit his post. In order for a Contract to be considered valid evidence, it must be Approved by a Staff member. If this is not done, the terms mean practically nothing. One of the reasons behind this is to avoid situations like what happened to Spaenjj. If you have further questions on the matter, feel free to Forum PM me.
The reason i edited the agreement was because the contract did not meet the terms i wanted. I'm not going to blow this out of proportion.
I edited my agreement before he said he purchased it. The reason for this was because the contract did not meet the terms i wanted.
As Alpert did not agree to the terms, and Spaenjj hasn't provided any evidence to contradict this, I'll be dismissing the Complaint. If you come across any additional evidence in the future, feel free to file a new Complaint. Thanks. Locked - Complaint Dismissed, No Terms Agreed Upon
