Felon Username: PureKingDing

Complaint: Bids on an auction for a maxed out fort 3 diamond shovel and wins but does not
pay the 6.1k he had bidded.

Hello gokux,

I have spoken to purekingding and he told me that he forgot he didn't have the amount needed to buy the shovel. For this, I will be warning him that he must make sure he can afford what he is attempting to buy. In addition, I apologise that you did not receive the money for the item. Below I will quote the rule the purkingding broke, for mainly his reference:

All auctions are to stay in this channel only. You may announce you are starting an auction in the trade channel, however afterwards the auction must go to the auction channel. There are, however, a few additional rules:

By starting an auction you are committed to selling the item. If you don't like the price that it sells for, there is nothing that can be done. You are still obligated to sell the item. (Please start auctions *at* a high enough price to ensure you are happy with the result.) An auction may only be cancelled if no one has bid on your item after a reasonable amount of time. Once a bid has been heard, you must follow through with the sale of the item.

You are allowed to ignore bids from certain players, however, you must do so inclusively. Once you have accepted a bid from a player, you cannot ignore future bids by that player for any reason.

If you are caught false bidding on items through reports and server log investigations you will face punishment. False bidding is bidding on an auction when you do not have the appropriate funds currently in your possession.

Auctions must use the same currency for all bids. Auctions may be Netherstars or otherwise items/exp if specified by the auctioneer, but they must be that currency for the duration of the auction. If not specified, all auctions are performed with EcoDollars.

All bids must be said and accepted in the auction channel. Auctioneers cannot accept bids from other channels or private messages.

Don't purposely extend your auction for 10+ minutes because you're not happy with the result. Long auctions are for the forum sale section, not in-game.

Disobeying these rules will cause you to get an in-game warning. If you get too many warnings in a short amount of time, you may be banned and will need to appeal on our website.

There is to be no *Mystery Auctions* in the auction channel. Every item for auction must be described prior to beginning the auction, and it must be server-related.
