I don't see why you're implying a joke that is ultimately harmless is going to hurt someone's chances.

 

You can say the same about troll threads, lol. They may be harmless, but they aren't gonna improve your chances. Pretty sure this qualifies as a troll thread.

 

There's a difference between making a harmless joke and trolling... if you can't tell the difference you shouldn't comment on people's odds of getting staff.
