This will be the first community service project provided by The Cult of the Tree ( info link here ) Thank you everyone who helped out with this community service project. Pics below of the project =D The Premise: I've been playing this game for a little over a month now, and one thing I've noticed people complain about comes from the builders. They say they can't find trees in the wild anywhere. I remember being a builder, and that seems fairly true from my perspective. Trees are the most important part of minecraft! The Plan: With that in mind, next saturday ( october, 27, 2012 ) Cult of the Tree members will take as many saplings and they can, and repopulate the areas in the wild where the wild gates are with as many trees as they can in the general area. The Support: If you are a part of or support the Cult of the Tree, or simply just this project there are a few things you can do to help. Mardigan_The_Mad and I will be collecting saplings, and you can work on collecting your own, or just donate whatever you have spare to one of us. If you're really serious about being a part of the Cult of the Tree, you can also come out on saturday and help us plant saplings. I will be taking some before and after pictures, a group picture of everyone placing trees, and a list of people who gave considerable donations and post em when it's all done. You know I didn't even think of using bone dust (I forget the actual name lol) to make the trees insta-grow. That would be actually really helpful =D
Well It'll be happening all day Saturday, but I'd like everyone who wants to help say so, and say when we are all able to get together so I can take the group photo with as many participants as possible.
I have plenty of saplings and bonemeal to bring. We're going to do amazing things! I'll notify all of my employees.
Why yes you can. Come help us plant trees next saturday, also if you have any stone, cobble or fuel it would be much appreciated. (blaze rods, coal, charcoal, lava buckets)
I have pyro+ (unlimited fuel), I wouldn't mind working in the forges sometime smelting whatever you need
omygosh yes. If you thought we needed a lot of cobble, the amount of smooth bricks we need are -insane- and we have no fuels.
Bring me empty buckets and I will provide unlimited lava! It's really the least I can do. I have saplings, too, for the replant project. Mostly oak, but a lot of jungle, too.

The /kit command makes trees obsolete. Just use the tools to get stone>iron>diamond, sell your goods you farm/mine and buy wood from the server shop.
Please everybody that wants to get in the group picture for treepopulation, please put down the times you'll be available on so we can work out the best time to do it
