I am almost ready to buy another star tool for my rental service. I have an Eff7 and a Msword already, so I was thinking about getting a Star Rod next, but tree farming has become pretty popular and I was thinking I should get an Eff10 axe. I can't decide, so I've attached a poll. Please vote which one y'all think I should get next. Thank you for your time and input.
Until the "treasure" aka crappy junk is removed from fishing it will continue to be pretty useless unfortunately. If you decide to go the axe route, I may be able to work out a deal with you and your renters for temp perms to my tree farm. It has all trees and many are multi-level.
Aww, has anyone told you just how amazing you are AdmiralD? :3. I didn't realize how popular (and good source of money) tree farming is with the right tool/farm. I use Imabankthing's farm and he's got a pretty awesome set up I make about $15k an hour there with my Eff10. It's just for making money tho. I think you only make $7k an hour with the star rod really, so the axe might be the better option. I don't know everything tho and you have to put a bunch of money into getting tree farm perms with the axe, so I'm not sure which is the better option I will get both at some point. I mean you run a risk of any star tool you rent out being stolen or broken. Thank you for the input tho. It's looking like an axe is the way to go anyways.
go with the axe tree feller doesnt use duration since the bug fix and fishing rods have a pretty low duration
From someone who has rented both out for more than a year: both are very rarely requested, however I'd say star axe.
I actually just bought a star axe to allow access to people with perms at Colebex. If you go the axe route be sure to lmk and I will gladly advertise your rentals at the farm.
You sir are too good to me. <3 This is true. I would have put mending on my rental star rod, to help with the dura it loses quickly, but mending can only do so much really.
