Minecraft Username: Dodos1 Brief Description: I was able to combine a owned item with a non-owned item on an anvil, something that many people told me wasn't possible Instructions: Put two unowned items on the anvil, one of them which is the one you want to combine with the owned item. Replace the other unowned item with the owned item. It will say it is not possible. Keep combining them until it says it is possible. Once they combine, it will create a new pick with the new enchants, but with the same id as the original owned item. How many times did you recreate this bug?: 3 times Result: 3 new picks that were technically not possible to create Expected Result: Not being able to combine them Evidence: I did it twice without screenshots, because i was just combining them and not understanding why it wasn't letting me, I didn't know that was a thing. I did it again, then I was confused because the system was telling me I couldn't do it. Then I asked in global, and I did it a third time with screenshots. I then tried it with someone else's owned item, along with my own. I was able to get it as a visual glitch, but when I tried to create it, it did not work, which is good, and exactly what I expected. I will post the link to those pictures as well just so you can see that. *Not positive whether or not with enough tries you can combine two owned items, I didn't push it too far.*
This is in fact known, and stated within @314's common bugs sticky at the top of the help section. You can see the combining owned tools report under the command-related bugs section; here's a link: https://www.ecocitycraft.com/forum/threads/must-read-before-posting-common-bugs.145757/
Bumping for @JamieSinn - need you to look into this thread. Update on the status. If it's a bug please report/make issue on github and PM me the relevant links.
