Collecting Proper Evidence

I just want to remind you all of the importance of collecting evidence.

• You must provide screenshots of the payment going through
• You must provide screenshots of the other player agreeing to the terms you lay out;
  • Alternatively, provide the link to a contract approved by a member of staff
• You must time stamp your screenshots
• Try to be specific in your time frames.
  • For example it is a lot better to say "10pm EST on the <insert date here>" than "in 2 weeks time"
• Always do /rn <nickname> on the player, if they have a ** in front of their name. Otherwise the staff have no proof that this is the player you claim it to be, even if the user uses this nickname all the time.
• Always be specific in the amount you expect back
  • For example, is it 100k payback or is it 110k payback? If you don't know, then staff don't either!

Anyway, I hope this helps, please collect proper evidence to avoid getting scammed without the user being punished.

As far as I know, time stamps are only necessary for scamming complaints, however it's always good to time stamp so we know if the user was warned before/after

 

And no, I was chatting to a user who had forgotten to do some of these things, amd I know it happens a lot so I figured I could make a thread about it. Keep it fresh in peoples minds
