    So I am able to join the server, but when I try to press "t" which brings up the chat screen it just goes to the dirt block screen everywhere, and I am unable to do anything.

    If any of you smart minecraft people are able to help me, please do so! :) <3

    hmm, thinks try forceupdating your minecraft, may help may not.
