Hello, I am wondering if anyone would be interested in me heading up an operation of building a Christmas tree (Hopefully not to religious, if so, I won't pm Andrewkm) in spawn. I would like to build it in the area between Andrewkm's house and the Dance Club. It would be made out of wool. I realize I don't have perms in spawn but I would pm Andrew/Wewinagain about this. Please vote in the poll, which will tell me whether or not to pm Andrew about setting this up. Scott
I am not a religious person and I don't see why a Christmas tree would be considered religious. My vote goes for putting the tree up!!!
Christmas trees just symbolize the christmas season.. Even my Jewish friend has a christmas tree.. Put one up!!! They can have torches for lights, item frames with diamonds for ornaments, and an ender Egg for the star on top!!!

We had one last year when there was like 50 people on at a time and there were a bunch of chests under the tree and they all opened at spawn to the public at christmas. It was awesome, do it again! They used diamond blocks, gold blocks, iron blocks, etc. And I am beginning to remember the money tree :')
I already have discussed this in the private staff section of the forums; no reply by andrew yet, we'll see. Let's just let him enjoy his trip prior to requesting anything - But yeah, I love the idea.
You know we live in a terrible world when people can say Christmas is a touch subject.... I agree though in fact in my minecraft house I'm putting a tree up now
