Hey guys, So as some of you know, I have became pretty active in-game recently, but really just to socialize. But I actually want to start play Ecocitycraft again, there's just one problem, I have literally nothing left, lol. Sold most of my towns, all my stuff, all I have left is a piece of Acacia Wood, and $681. I'm not asking for any give-outs, or anything as such, I simply just would like to know some things that I missed. What's the best crop to farm? What to use? Is farming even worth it? Who's farm do I use? How to mine properly, what world? Anybody that gives a helping hand, once I get myself back on my feet, i'll be sure to return the favor. Again, don't think i'm asking for hand-me-downs. Thanks, Jets.
Honestly just try to mine it's the easiest way I have found to make money. As for technique there Is a thread on the mining forum for data mining where we discuss how much each technique and pick makes. Sent from my SCH-I545 using Tapatalk
Personally, the two easiest ways to make money are by mining and sg. If you are not into pvp, I suggest mining, as it is a pretty good source of making money. There are also threads in the mining section of the forums of good techniques to use when mining. However, if you're into pvp, sg is a great way to obtain money, as well.
If you have fly+, nether is a great place to get money. Quartz is really good money, and you get so much Exp from the quartz when you mine it in the mining world. Just remember to go far out into the nether, and silk the ores so you can bring them into mining and get the exp to sell. It is a really good money maker Hope this helps. Also make them into blocks and sell the blocks to players. It goes for a lot more
If you don't have a melon sword or eff 7 i suggest mining/cocoa bean farming/sg I make around 50-110k per day from sg Also if you get a town selling plots/having a town shop helps quite a bit.
Tanman and Zach really hit the nail on the head; since you have no tools, SG would be your best bet. Since you have kits, you should be able to make a hefty amount per hour off of SG, as I usually make around $15k-$30k an hour without kits. Once you get enough money, get a pumpkin axe. You can rotate between farming and SG and it will make tons of money. Then save for a either a melonsword or eff7, depending on what you enjoy more (farming or mining). At that point, you should be set. And, WELCOME BACK!
I would suggest voting and using /kit starter first. Using the money earned and the kit, go and mine in the mining world. [strip mining is a useful technique] Earn enough to buy a maxed pickaxe. (fortune?) Then, mine until you have enough to buy permissions to a farm & a pumpkin axe. Farm until you have enough to buy a nice house (or buy a plot with $600) Right now, the best crop to farm at that is affordable is pumpkin farming. Melon farming requires a melon sword, which now costs 550-600k. If you like SG, that is also a way to make a lot of money quickly. I don't suggest mining in the nether unless you have fly+ and possibly pyro+, like ghostmaster said. Hope this helps!
Basically, get a /kit starter and try to either mine in the Mining World and find a lot of ores and try to find a town to live in so yr stuff is safe from greifiers (99.9% of time). Either that or if u like pvp and Sg then go to the SG and win some for some easy money. Or, you cn do a huge farm of coca beans and wheat to make some money there! Yr choice though! What I would do is go mining with an eff5 unb3 fort3 pick in the mining world and mine in a 1x2 tunnel and get all the ores as they give good exp. Also welcome back jets!
Welcome back @Jetscat I suggest that you play survival games and once you get the money required buy yourself a Star Pickaxe or Melon Sword. They make quite a good amount of money. Survival games is said to make a lot on its own, and if you already have the kits, why not?
Thanks too. Yeah, i've been playing SG recently, but mainly just with friends, i'll probably take it seriously and see if I can make a profit out of it.
